Event ticketing policy
These rules apply to every event hosted through TamizhConnect. Organizers acknowledge them when connecting Stripe and listing an event.
Fees & upsells
We do not publish price tables on this page. Organizers see all platform fees, payment processing costs, and optional placements directly in the dashboard before confirming an event.
- Service and placement fees are disclosed at setup and in checkout flows; nothing is hidden or hardcoded elsewhere.
- Currency, taxes, and organiser-specific adjustments are calculated in-app.
- Organizers set their own ticket prices and remain responsible for tax compliance.
Refunds & payouts
- Organizer-initiated refunds allowed up to 7 days (configurable per profile).
- Platform/app fees are retained by default.
- Stripe disputes debit the organizer's balance/payouts and may pause listings upon repeated losses.
- Payout cadence follows Stripe Connect automatic schedules for Standard accounts.
Safety, fairness & waitlist
Velocity & limits
Default per-user limit of 4 tickets, 3 checkout attempts per user / 5 per device within 10 minutes.
Waitlist
When sold out, fans can join a timestamped waitlist. Releases honor queue order.
Prohibited content & SLAs
Prohibited Content
- Hate speech, extremist fundraising, or electioneering without approvals.
- Events promoting illegal substances, weapons workshops, or fraudulent schemes.
- NFT/crypto token sales that represent securities or profit guarantees.
Postponement & Cancellation
- Notify attendees within 24h of the decision and offer a new date or refund.
- Refund window defaults to 7 days unless you extend it in organizer settings.
- TamizhConnect may cancel listings that violate health/safety advisories.
Disputes & Chargebacks
- Organizer responds to Stripe dispute emails within 48h with evidence.
- If you lose a dispute, the charge amount + dispute fee is debited from payouts.
- Repeated disputes may pause your account until remediation is in place.
